An acknowledged expert on the Three Stooges, Gary Lassin has been president of the Three Stooges Fan Club since 1986 and is a member of Larry Fine’s family. He’s done countless radio and TV interviews over the years and has emceed many Three Stooges film festivals and events. He’s also the founder and curator of the Stoogeum, the nation’s only Three Stooges museum, located in Ambler, Pennsylvania.
Born in Japan, the son of a U.S. serviceman, Gary grew up in the Philadelphia area. He received a B.A. in economics and political science from Brandeis University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He is also an inactive CPA in the state of Pennsylvania. In “real life,” Gary is now retired after many years of employment as the vice-president of finance for a national direct-mail catalog company but still continues to operate the Three Stooges Fan Club and The Stoogeum.
